Helicopter pilot killed in central Pa. crash

MCVEYTOWN, Pa. (AP) ? Authorities say a helicopter pilot was killed when his aircraft crashed in the field of a central Pennsylvania farm over the weekend. The (Harrisburg) Patriot-News (http://bit.ly/Ukznlt ) says Mifflin County Coroner Daniel Lynch identified the victim as 61-year-old Kenneth Smith. Lynch says the McVeytown resident was killed on impact when the engine of the two-seat helicopter shut off and the aircraft crashed Saturday morning.
