Oil leak leads HPD to hit-and-run suspect

Houston police followed the trail of leaking oil to a white pickup and suspect in a hit-and-run that pinned a motorist against his disabled Cadillac on the North Freeway near West Road early Wednesday morning, KHOU-TV reports on its website. The victim was pushing his Cadillac in the right lane while another person was steering about 4:20 a.m. when the pickup smashed into the back of the car. The truck, which was heavily damaged on the front end, was leaking oil and police followed the oil trail to a nearby neighborhood.�The damaged truck and the suspected driver were found on Rain Dance and Eagle?s Glide Drive.
